Telehealth Dental Review

Christopher Place Healthcare Review (CPHCR), a URAC-accredited Independent Review Organization based in Harrisburg, PA, is seeking General Dentists and Orthodontists to join our network of independent contractor reviewers. As a full member of the National Association of Independent Review Organizations (NAIRO), we are committed to upholding the highest standards in independent medical review.

Position Overview
This remote opportunity allows physicians to apply their clinical expertise in a non-clinical setting by reviewing workers' compensation claims and external appeals. You'll assess the medical appropriateness of services using nationally recognized evidence-based guidelines, regulatory standards, and client-specific requirements. Cases involve reviewing medical records, responding to client questions, and providing clear, well-supported clinical rationales.

What You’ll Do

• Review medical records to determine appropriateness of care

• Apply state regulations, evidence-based guidelines, and client-specific protocols

• Draft well-supported, clear clinical determinations

• Complete reviews within required turnaround times

• Participate in training and maintain licensure and certifications

• Engage in quality improvement efforts when applicable

• Conduct mandatory peer calls if required by client or state

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted state medical license

• Current board certification (ABMS or AOA)

• Minimum 5 years of direct post-graduate clinical experience

• Clinical practice within the past 3 years
