Dentist - Full Time or Contract

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Full-Time Dentist or contract dentist at C.A.R.E. Clinic will play a vital role in improving the oral health of patients by delivering comprehensive dental care, focusing on disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. The dentist will ensure patient-centered, high-quality care while upholding professional standards and compliance with all dental regulations. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with the clinic’s multidisciplinary team, educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices, and actively participating in the clinic’s mission to provide accessible healthcare services.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform comprehensive oral examinations, diagnose dental conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.

· Provide preventive, restorative, and emergency dental care, including fillings, crowns, extractions, and endodontic treatments on premolar and anterior teeth.

· Provide treatment and repairs for removable prostheses.

· Prescribe medications and appropriate pain management treatments as needed.

· Interpret and evaluate radiographs to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.

· Provide treatment and repairs for removable prostheses.

· Work closely with dental hygienists, therapists, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.

· Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene, disease prevention, and post-treatment care.

· Ensure all dental procedures comply with Minnesota Board of Dentistry regulations and C.A.R.E. Clinic policies.

· Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care following HIPAA and clinic protocols

· Follow strict sterilization and infection control guidelines for all instruments, equipment, and procedures

· Stay updated on industry best practices, continuing education, and advancements in dental care
